I have always been in a customer service position, starting from McDonald's to being a Farmers Insurance Agent.
When my Dad became an Agent in 1991 his vision was to have one of his daughters take over the business. Well, my older sister Debby had a career in dental and my middle sister Cindy lives in PA, so that left me. Did I ever think in my lifetime that I would become an "Insurance Agent"? It was the furthest thing from my mind. Well in 1997 I became a full-time Farmers agent. I LOVE what I do; this is the ultimate "customer service" job I have ever had. It's not about selling Insurance, it's all about taking care of your customers, something that businesses have lost sight of in the recent years.
When my Dad turned 65 in May of 2001, he decided that it was time for him to transfer his Agency over to me and semi-retire. Unfortunately in July of 2001, there was a different plan for my Dad. I am truly thankful for the years I got to spend working side by side with my Dad in OUR Agency.
Being an Insurance Agent is the BEST career ever, and being a FARMERS Insurance Agent is even better. I LOVE Farmers Insurance and everything we stand for. We did an incredible job in 2003 taking care of all of our people. Who would have thought that, in 2007, we would be doing it again, and even better than we did in 2003?
2008 has been the best year ever for my Agency. The reason for our success is that we provide the best customer service. I have the best of the best running my Agency and our goal is "Customers come first."
